Joyeux Noël is maybe the best film you can actualy see on screen, it's story reveals a part of history voluntary obstructed for politcal reasons... the fight-break, cease fire, during december 1914, and peace acts / freindship between german, french and scotish tranchées' soldiers ...
based on a true fact wich did happened on different areas the same day... christmas.
The film was planed to be shot in france, and had the military agreement to do it on the historical location, but, they changed their mind a couple of weeks before the shooting start... they finaly did it in romania (to double check)... some stories aren't ready to be supported, part of history to be admited or assumed obviously...
