Some minutes after, to present "A History of Violence", both of them came,  impressed and pleased to be there to present the film for the first time in France, which ever has the reputation to be provocant...and, as the tittle says, violent...

Viggo will add this comment of a beautifull love story and unique experience with popular director, mister Cronenberg...

The lights slowly faded to black and Cannes festival's logo shined, the film was about to begin...

Yesterday, around eight p.m, cinephiles of Paris went to the new ciinematheque, for the "before premiere" of the last david Cronenberg film, a history of violence, starring Viggo Mortensen...

This film is one of my starters, even if i never saw any episode indy(s) on screen...

I was nine years old, and recived as birthday's gift the vhs of indy's last adventure, as every kid, i first wanted to become an archeologist, found pasion for antique history, Egypt ...

Everything i've ever found in my garden was only stones, i slep just like him on a yellow airboat...in the middle of my roon, to know how it feel to do it, a lucasart brown official hat covering my face just as dr.Jones...

Sometimes after i finally had this revelation, what impressed me were the characters and stories... i found by this film "what i would like to do when i'll be older", and still, twelve years after...director, story-teller...

That's how everything started...

During the next years, i had no chance to got away from the disney's, knew the gold age of the american cartoons for kids and started to move on true films some year after, still for kids, but films anyway, yo!

I know that i'm not the only one who wished ET to stay, and this film is the starter of a friend who want to direct too (hi Irina!), it's a wonderfull sci-fi tell... with an other elliot (humhum...who copied?!)...after this film all of us had tears on eyes..."i'll always be there...be kind"...snif don't go !!! the re-edition is very limited, bathroom scene is funny...

sometimes after, my father designed me a flying bike, wich never left ground ofcourse, I was very desapointed...but it was the origin of my faith to turst in impossible things... i started to believe in dreams and saw myself in the air...

... sometimes dreams are better than reality...
